The Water Teaches Us: NETrekk’s Commitment to Responsible Fly Fishing and the FFI Community

Every fly fisher knows the water is always teaching. It teaches patience, awareness, and responsibility — the kind that extends beyond the cast and into how we handle fish, how we move through the water, and how we care for the places we love.

At NETrekk, those lessons guide every design decision we make. Our compact folding nets, telescopic handles, and fish‑friendly materials all reflect a simple belief: responsible fly fishing begins with intentional gear.

As we move deeper into 2026, we’ve been listening closely — to the water, to the community, and to the conservation leaders shaping the future of our sport.

Strengthening Our Conservation Mission Through FFI

This year, we’re proud to take another meaningful step forward.

NETrekk has officially joined with Fly Fishers International (FFI) to offer our Discount & Donate Partnership Program to all FFI Councils and Clubs nationwide. This program supports the FFI Handle Fish Safely for Soft Release initiative by providing:

• Exclusive member discounts on NETrekk gear

• Matching donations directly to local FFI Councils and Clubs

• Support for conservation education and youth programs

It’s a simple, effective way to help fly fishers equip themselves responsibly while strengthening the organizations that protect our fisheries.

This partnership reflects what we’ve believed from the beginning: conservation thrives when we support the communities who understand, value, and protect our natural systems.

Designing With Intention

Our design philosophy remains steady and conservation‑first. We continue to focus on:

• Durable, recyclable materials

• Compact, wading‑safe profiles

• Gear that supports the fish and the fly fisher

Every season brings new insights, and we quietly refine our gear to reflect what we learn. These refinements don’t replace what exists today — they build on it, ensuring NETrekk gear remains dependable, adaptable, and aligned with responsible fly fishing practices.

Listening to the Fly Fishing Community

Guides, organizations, outfitters, and everyday fly fishers continue to shape our direction. Their feedback helps us understand what matters most on the water:

• Reliability

• Safety

• Conservation alignment

• Gear that lasts

• Gear that reflects their values

Those conversations have been especially meaningful this year, pointing us toward thoughtful evolutions in how we design, support, and serve the angling community.

A Quiet Look Ahead

While we’re not ready to share specifics, we can say this: NETrekk is exploring ways to make our gear even more adaptable and more aligned with the needs of anglers who value conservation.

These aren’t “next‑gen” versions. They’re natural extensions of the philosophy that built NETrekk.

You’ll see some of this thinking reflected in updates to NETrekk.com later this year — and we’ll share more as we get closer to FlyFest 2026, where we’ll celebrate the community that makes all of this possible.

Staying True to the Water

The water teaches us to move with intention. To adapt. To respect what came before while preparing for what comes next.

That’s the path NETrekk is on — steady, thoughtful, conservation‑first.

And we’re grateful to walk that path with the FFI community and the fly fishers who care for our waters every day.
